Mama, My Love
Mama, the sweetest word I love to utter
With her gentle smile, gloomy day becomes brighter
She's the light and heart in our humble home
I genuinely cherish her in my bosom.
How I love listening to her melodious lullaby
Fondly caressing me whenever I cry
Hugging, kissing, cuddling me till my tears subside
My refuge, my comfort zone when she's by my side.
Long time ago, my guiding shining star vanished away
Leaving me in darkness and nostalgia everyday
Joined our Great Creator in His heavenly realm
However, I often meet her in my wildest dream.
Though you're no longer physically present in our midst
Yet in my heart, virtually feel your presence mama dearest
Love and miss you much mama, fond memories I love to recall
As I write down this emotional poem, lonely tears begin to fall.
I know someday we'll be reunited in heaven
Yearning to feel your tender loving touch again
No more bitter tears dripping down my cheerful face
Gloriously living under God's eternal awesome grace.
