a lonely blue thing on my way
I stopped to check out: watched you play
without the wind to make your day.
I saw you there just now
and thought I'd join you in that bough
you seem to say yes with that bow,
I do not have to arch my brow.
I see you yes; I saw -- it's me
Perhaps I'm just as lonely as can be
a blue thing, smiling, cute and free
but inside something longs to flee!
