You didn’t just give me your name,
You built the soul from which I came.
You taught me love that doesn’t fade,
And strength in silence gently laid.
You showed up when the days were long,
You stood behind me, firm and strong.
No need for words to feel your grace—
Your love was always in its place.
I carry both of you each day,
In all I do, in what I say.
