"GAZING AT MOON FROM BALCONY"
A quiet night at the outback
in deserted place somewhat;
Here, alone, minding a friend's home,
a charming homestead on a hill.
I'll take pleasure this evening chill
with crisp autumn air on the mend
from past summer droughts mitherings;
dishing niggling nights no end.
In curious state I now marvel
To come this far, away from home.
My home in the city to this bend,
feeling cool, liberated and free!
Tonight I commune with the moonlight
Quandaries of life I thought to share
A rare momentum this time passes
As I oft missed moon rising at my place.
Here in balcony I sit at ease
Watching the iridescent light
Of this wintry moony night
How I feel transfixed in that sea of peace!
How mysterious the night can be!
For in the clouds, I see God's glory!
The hosts of Angels encircling His throne
To watch the earth with light beknown.

SOMEWHERE OUT THERE
By Linda Ronstadt
Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me
And loving me tonight
Somewhere out there
Someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another
In that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing, on the same right star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping, underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we'll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping, underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we'll be together
Somewhere out there
