A POET'S GARDEN
My friend has shared with me his love for gardening to which he grows flowers and plants of all kinds.
He's enthusiastic about this passion.
Akin to poetry, he diligently tends his plants every single day.
He showered me a simple narrative on how his garden beautifully grow with flowers blooming as if they are smiling at him and looking happy.
"Don't you know that if you talk to your plants they listen to you?" I told him one day.
"And when you take good care of them, they respond the same by giving you their beauty through healthy growth? And when you are happy in their company, they smile back, feeling cheery by showing off their beautiful flowers? Yes, plants, too, do have their own language to communicate with humans."
"Ignore them and they sulk, they grow wild in disarray, get wilted, and you know the feeling of being neglected. Give them due care, time and attention, and they too will reward you with results you, the gardener, alone can feel the pleasure of satisfaction when they bless you with copious blossoms bright and fair!"
"They bring back the creatures from nature such as bees and butterflies to play with them and more beauty they re-create through pollination." I added.
My friend gave my thoughts a thought... and his garden becomes a source of his inspiration to write more poetry.
