FEEDING THE HOMELESS
They're not the av'rage homeless Joes
As once they're the backbones of the economy
Tilling and toiling lands to provide us foods
From paddocks to tables they delivered
Foods were sufficient for every family.
One day, our bushland heroes woke up to a flaming inferno
Enraged by man-made calculated scheme they heard
Houses and farm crops were razed to rubbles
Animals and birds were charred to ashes.
Destitute and desperate for help they cried.
No clothes, no foods, no homes to live
Some lives were lost; they melted in the ground
From nothing to nothing, they rose to redeem their burnt dignity.
No wasted time, the nation clad themselves in compassion
They pulled together in aid to their fellow brothers
In servitude they gave back in feeding the homeless.
