MOON IN THE GLENT
SHAKESPEAREAN SONNET
By Leah C Dancel
Will the moon come out tonight in the glen
With beams on his face delighting my bliss?
Will he sing me a song just like a Wren
With voice soft and sweet that ask for a kiss?
My heart is throbbing while the night is still.
A secret I could not hold much longer
For I feel lonesome, edify my will.
Only in thee I feel safe to confer:
Let my wish be known in thy heaven's name.
In light and love and truth may thee not hide.
Illumine this world and I will proclaim.
Let all people on earth in thee abide.
That all shall dwell in peace and harmony.
Let them be glad and hold their dreams nobly.

SONNET:
HARMONY and PEACE
By Leah C Dancel
Will the moon come out tonight in the glen
With beams on his face delighting my bliss?

With voice soft and sweet that ask for a kiss?
My heart is throbbing while the night is still.

In light and love and truth may thee not hide.
Illumine this world and I will proclaim.
Let all people on earth in thee abide.
That all shall dwell in harmony and peace.
Let them be glad, live, dream; all ruffles cease.
