Three wise men
from the Orient came.
Led by a bright Star
in Bethlehem shone;
A guide to light
their journey long.
Offering gifts
to a new born:
Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
They cared not much
that the King of kings,
they came to adore,
was only wrapped
in swaddling clothes.
They kneeled down
on knees beside a manger
Where baby Jesus was laid
over a hay as His bed.
Humble kings bestowed
their will as angels sang:
Peace on Earth
Goodwill to men!
