Hello! Glorious Wednesday afternoon to all my jolly fellow Seenagers! Once again, below is my newly composed 29th poem. Hope you enjoy reading it.
SO MANY WHY'S IN LIFE
Have you ever thought of these things created?
Everything seems to have its own counterpart
If there is heaven, there's an earth
If there is death, there is sure birth.
If there is sunlight, there is moonlight
If there is black, there is white
If there is left, there is right
Why do penguins walk upright?
Why do fireflies on the tree glow at night?
Proudly displaying their amazing tail-light
So engrossed watching them with delight
Oh! What a lovely sight on a starry dark night!
Why do stars in the night sky keep on twinkling?
Why do rivers continuously flowing?
Why does the mountain keep on growing?
Why do tears fall when crying?
Why is there a colorful arching rainbow?
At early dawn, why do cocks loudly crow?
After the night, dawn will soon follow
To bring us a beautiful tomorrow.
Why can't we see the wind but feel its presence?
Blowing, whistling, echoing, touching my skin
Caressing my hair, filling my lungs with fresh air
Feeling refreshed when a hard day's work is done.
Why most animals can't dare to talk?
But myna and parrot when tamed, can talk
Why all dogs are color-blind?
But faithful guide to the blind.
Why are there different human races around the globe?
Asians, Americans, Europeans and Africans
Why do they have different skin colors?
Why some people are rich but most are poor?
Why do people die? Replaced by newborn babies.
Million years ago, death had claimed countless lives
Would it not be so congested above?
Nothing is impossible with God's eternal love.
There are still so many why's in life
I just live my life with joy and pride
With God's grace and mercy, I abide
Just simply wondering why oh why?
