Happy World Poetry Day!
there are syllables
that count the narrow steps
to mountains,
there are voices
that if a child listens
it becomes either
raindrops
or rainbow.
you choose that fluid solid letters
and you become a soul
sleeping under a blanket
with no sorrow nor regret:
you become a poet whose dreams
are words between you and those falling stars.

Like the sweetest honey on your lips
Every syllable is a gospel of divine,
Of heavenly and earthly rhymes:
Spoken words are spoken because one is free.
Whether you have faith or none,
Your stories are made of metaphorical end —
Because one chooses to embrace beauty over death.
