"Words pulsate in the veins of my pen"™ Leah C. Dancel
He introduced himself:
A scribe in littérateur;
French in his blue veins
Running in the stream.
He shot a query at her:
"Can you hold a pen?"
She countered back:
"Not just a pen I hold
My paper is parched
My ink is tinged-full
in black, blue and red."
It was a precursory line,
A harbinger of his divine intent.
To measure the breadth of her mind
To dig how deep is her faculty
To comprehend his rhetoric courtship.
He asked one more time:
"Are you a scribbler?
Do you mind dropping me a line?"
"Why?" she shot back.
That was the beginning of their affair.
An affair leading to a synergic rapport.
Between the editor and a writer.
Assured was he to know when
"Words pulsate in the veins of my pen!"™
