ALTAR OF DREAMS
I
"How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!"
Where virtue of purity in her heart resides
She values the importance of morality
Lost in this world of impurities and human indignities.
II
"The world forgetting, by the world forgot."
Where she's unmindful of her surrounds,
buried deep in vileness acts.
She shuts her eyes on things she has no control;
In the altar of solitude she found peace, her sole comfort.
III
"Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!"
Where she nurtures her thoughts of spiritual kind
For a noble purpose that is true to her core
A calling she adheres with a conscience pure.
IV
"Each prayer accepted, and each wish resigned."
Before the Altar of Dreams she laid her soul bare
To the Giver above whom she petitioned her desires
She's a faithful wife, a doting mom and her Eaglets' Wings!
